When I was tasked with redesigning the Gemeente Rotterdam website, specifically the street cleaning page, I knew the challenge was to make something as routine as cleaning streets feel engaging and fresh. My goal was to create a site that not only informed residents but also invited them to explore and spend more time on the page.

I started by sketching various layouts in Sketch, designing for both iPhone SE and web versions. I focused on ensuring the content was easy to navigate, no matter the device. Once I had the structure in place, I added vibrant colors, images, and interactive elements to make the page visually appealing. The design needed to strike a balance—being entertaining but still professional.

The result was a dynamic, user-friendly page that made the topic of street cleaning more engaging and inviting for the people of Rotterdam. Through interactive design and thoughtful visuals, the project successfully transformed a functional page into one residents would actually want to visit.
