This project was made in collaboration with my school itself. My school provides a small book, ’Words of Wis’Dam’, to help international students find their way in Amsterdam. Our task was to digitalise a part of the book, but still make it your own. I chose the ‘Art’ part and made my own twist by adding the fashion part to it.

overview
I made this website for exchange students and students who are interested in fashion. For students who want to fill their free time by combining that interest with their hobby/ study.I added hotspots and museums in the website, but to get to those places you have to follow a map. By following that map you get pop-ups with little facts about Amsterdam. Some facts being outside of fashion. For example, if you’re at Waterloopplein, you’ll get a pop-up saying “Waterloopplein was named after is named after the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. And is famous for its flea markets.”
By walking these students will also get to see more of the city other than fashion.
‘Ways of Fashion’ was a way for me to reconnect with my previous major. To also get a glimpse of what it can be in the future.
